Since I know that AT LEAST one of you is an audiophile like me...

Have you ever had that experience where you listen to something you haven't listened to in a while (maybe years) that, while you may have liked it before, suddenly when you hear it again, it is so moving and impressive, and you can't for the life of you remember why you haven't listened to it in so long? I pulled up an old Peter Gabriel greatest hits album tonight (Shaking The Tree), and was listening to it, and I have always felt that Peter Gabriel was something of a magical musical genius, but for some reason I had forgotten about the song Here Comes The Flood . I was nearly crying the second time through it. It is one of the most beautiful songs, the poetry is so perfect, and his voice, which always gives me at least a little shiver, is at its absolute best. I am somewhat sensitive to the effects of really good music... more than some people I know...A really good song can put me completely in another emotional place nearly instantly, and this is one of those kinds of songs for me (Like Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits, or Red House by Jimi Hendrix, or Landslide by Fleetwood Mac, or a few dozen other songs).

Sorry...feeling a little reflective right now. Back to the usual horny little bitch in my next post, I promise.
